The 2023 annual report for Frontier Texas highlighted the museum’s fundraising efforts with several events, one being honoring an Abilene leader, advertising legend and museum founder, HC Zachry as well as the museum’s expansion and programs. 

To date, this format for the annual report has improved communication to leaders and citizens of Abilene and Texas tourism officials surpassing the goals needed to begin the expansion and future programs. When Frontier Texas re-opens, the museum will have more exhibit space for traveling and permanent exhibits showcasing Texas heritage.
