Issue focuses on literary heritage and history throughout Texas with Hank The Cowdog featured on the cover and as the magazine’s first Authentic Dog. Working with Author, John Erickson and Nikki Early, I was given permission to fully restore the original illustration of Hank The Cowdog that was originally hand drawn by the series illustrator, Gerald Holmes.
